I made the mistake of selecting web based help or soemthing when I got prompted for what help system I wanted to use. DON’T DO THIS !!! Its like it searches some bizare website and its totally useless. Yesterday I was searching on VarType.....got VB help !!! What the HELL is that about?? There is also this search tab. You click on that, and there is an option for selecting the language to search.....Delphi dosnt even show in the list !!! I am completely DUMBFOUNDED about this help. And now, I cant even see how to change it to a different help, like may be the real help that actually looks for Delphi things not VB ot C# etc. I am liking D2k7, but there are some STRANGE things happening at times !

Only thing I did that was non standard was I installed the D2007/RAD not to C:\Program Files But to D:\BigPrograms As I prefer to keep larger stuff off the C Drive. Has this confused the system so it can't find help files? .Net stuff was installed to the default location. Hey I can always add the D5 Help to the tools menu again ;) In the famous words some may remember this fabled D2007 Help is like your proverbial Norwegian Blue Parrot. "Its not dead - its just sleeping!" Anyone have any suggestions???? Errors are like: The Menu Help option brings up the Windows Document explorer, but nothing at all in the index. Language options filters do not show Delphi....there are all the .net language choices (C# C++ etc), but no help for them either.
