What is a wink demo ??

I have just finished infopower (no I dont want a new version from them all ready for D2007, it was painful enough last time as they too change too many things in the source as well as UI } Found three issues

1. Compiler Version was not what was expected (ie VER190) and when I finally located in the help, it told me it was ver140 which I did not believe.

2. TButtonSet has changed names to TNavButtonSet in DBCtrls

3. kiRangeEnd go shifted out from DBTables to DBCommonTypes

Normally it would not take too long to find these... but when ctrl-enter does not work (not even for Borland units), it makes it very slow. I had to resort to having D7 open and searching there. Another 5 to go. Thankfully I wont have to do Orpheus as I finally got rid of it from all my legacy apps.

I just tried again, its permanent. Very very frustrating, while I am trying to migrate 3rd party libraries quickly. As yet again Declarations and units appear to have changed.

I just spent a while migrating a D6 application (with all the libraries) to D2007 and I have not experienced your problems. Can you do a Wink demo of what you are experiencing?

Richard
