For anyone interested I have a new version of my cool little transparent
analogue clock widget...it has a few extra refinements now like:
-It now becomes less transparent when the mouse moves over it - useful when
date hard to read.
-Also the day/date section has been refined to make it easier to read on
dark backgrounds
-The hands display improved - the hands overlap the centre of the dial as in
a real clock now.
Still uses negligible CPU and 3MB memory. I wrote it because the best Opera
widget clock I saw really chewed CPU, and the one that didn't had no second
hand or date. Transparent, unobtrusive, easy to read, shows seconds, week
day, date. No drain on resources. Note uses transparency, so only useful
on Windows XP or Vista - not sure about 2000.

Email me if you would like program or source or both (if you want to
tinker). Freeware.
