The way mine works is that "a" starts its splash screen (which has the progress info on it) and launches "b". "b" has the identical splash screen and just takes over, the user does not notice that the screen has been replaced. And "a" dies in the background. Havent had to use any process locking means.

Hello everyone,
I got two exe files a.exe, b.exe. I want a.exe startup to show a splash screen. And a.exe will launch b.exe and a.exe will quit. I want b.exe once finish launching and close the splash screen. How to do that? TIA Regards
Leigh
