Hi Vikas, This happens when one try to edit the .dfm file also. So check that. Delete all the generated .dcu files and rebuild the project. btb, what is the name of the control that you have changed? Regards, Sabu M H

But i get an error saying duplicate resource. I am not sure whats exactly happening i even try to rename the res file of the application thinking it might help but unfortunatly that dint worked. actually we are using the image control and i changed the control say from ximage to yimage since ximage works with win2k and yimage works with xp.
