Yeah, D2006 had some serious leaks, and most of those are also fixed in D2007 with the latest patches. A couple of small ones still remain, I suspect, but not enough to worry about anymore.
You can of course download the D2007 trial and install it free for 30 days! It's a full working version, so you can experience the D2007 IDE for free. My implication with the issues on IDE exit, was that it is the component writers and their components/component editors at fault, not the IDE in itself. I have used DSpeedup. While crashes might be due to 3rd party components, its diabolical to figure out which ones and then how do you know is the bug causing the issue anyway?
