HI Jeremy,

OK, You must decide if you're going to sort out what is obviously a snakepit, 
or find a decent workaround.

How about this: from the MDI child post a custom Windows Message to fire the 
button which is on the Main MDI Form. You know that works OK, and using  
postmessage or sendmessage, you will be isolated from the MDI issue hopefully.!!
