Hi Jeremy, I have here a small app I did a long time ago (D5) which reads .mbx files and views, deletes, extracts emails. You're welcome to the source if it helps, regards, Steve

I have a linux box that has SendMail installed, and I have set up a mailbox for a user which has some emails in the file. What i want to be able to do is open this file and extract the email "parts" out. I took a look at the file, since its just text, and I cant seem to see any "delimiters" or anything that would indicate where one mesage starts and the other stops. anyone got any ideas? APART from installing a POP3 server, as from what I have read this seems to be a bit of effort for just ONE email address. also forwarding to another email is not an option either....hence why I thought I woudl just read the file.
