The component that your trying to use was created with delphi 5, but I'd
say your not using delphi 5.

If this is the case then you need to rename the files to reflect what
version of delphi you are using, i.e. if your using delphi 7 or 2007
then try renaming to vcl.dcp and vclx.dcp.

        Hi

I am attempting to install a new Delphi component. Apparently it
requires 2
        files

        - vcl50.dcp
        - vclx50.dcp

I've made a search of my computer as well as Borland and
Microsoft websites
with no luck. A google search indicates that these files are
related to
        Delphi runtime.

However I haven't found the files nor any pointer to them.

        Does anyone have a suggestion?

        Bob
