Coming in very late to this topic but 64bit is huge for us also. Also, and within the context of cross platform support for the Mac OS, surely Delphi needs to go 64bit from the get-go as the Mac is predominantly 64bit and will be 100% 64bit by years end. The MAC OS will still support 32bit apps but why would one go down this route?

(note that I'm not saying that cross platform isn't a good idea or ultimately worthwhile, just that 64-bit should come first!) _______________________________________________ NZ Borland Developers Group - Delphi mailing list Post: delphi@delphi.org.nz Admin: http://delphi.org.nz/mailman/listinfo/delphi Unsubscribe: send an email to delphi-requ...@delphi.org.nz with Subject: unsubscribe _______________________________________________ NZ Borland Developers Group - Delphi mailing list Post: delphi@delphi.org.nz Admin: http://delphi.org.nz/mailman/listinfo/delphi Unsubscribe: send an email to delphi-requ...@delphi.org.nz with Subject: unsubscribe
