Neven, Most of our work is day-to-day real time dataentry related stuff so not huge volume in the grand scheme. Plenty of reads per day with reporting but not a heavy write.
I wouldn't know exactly but only a few hundred transactions a day for many, comprising no more than a couple thousand rows of data a day. MS SQL Server 2005. Every now and then we do some re-importing of data, or rebuilds where we are dumping up to 1million transactions (500mb database) and it would take about 1-2hours to write them all out and commit them. dont know if thats much use to you On Tue, Mar 9, 2010 at 7:59 AM, Neven MacEwan <ne...@mwk.co.nz> wrote: > Hi All > > I'm after some anecdotal numbers, > > 1.
