Thanks Jan. I found a solution within the Indy components. Indy has a component idUri that can convert these html “hex” coded urls back to normal url. I use it to convert the path and then the emails are sent without a problem. Jan Soumini Varma wrote: Hi, I am sending Html emails with inline images using the idsmtp component (Version 10). The Html editor that I use saves the source file name of these inline images with html hex codes if there are any spaces or special characters in the file name. For e.g. "File #3.jpeg" is saved as "File %20%233.jpeg" (%20 for space and %23 for #). Indy hangs when trying to send such emails. I have no problems sending emails if the inline image source does not contain any spaces or special characters in its file name or if the spaces and special characters are saved as is. However I am unable to make the component save the spaces etc as is. Any help is appreciated.
