I have downloaded GIMP in the past, certainly I am familiar with linux and I have seen people using GIMP, and Photoshop for editing pictures.
Why don't I use it? With GIMP and Photoshop I hardly know where to start. For a start there are layers, some day I will figure out how to use layers. That day has not yet arrived, for good or bad. The advantage of Irfanview is I can be in and out with a simple task done in less time than it takes just to look through the GIMPs menus...
