I am facing a small problem while using ident_current feature using adoquery. with AdoAccountQuery do begin close; sql.clear; sql.text := '*SELECT IDENT_CURRENT(‘Client_Accountdetail’)*' open end; it gives an access violation in open statement. I tried this using select max(column name) from table it still gives the error how ever when i try select * from table it works fine I know i may sound dump here but it just not seems to work for me correctly regards Vik --
