In past versions of Delphi when ever I wanted to add a project
template to my repository that could be used as the basis for a new project
some time later, I would always create a sub-directory within the Repository
section of the Delphi install, and under it create and set up my project
template exactly as I wanted it. Then I would open that project from the
repository and use the Projects|Add to Repository menu items to add it.
This always worked well, and when I needed to start a new project using that
template I could simply locate the project in the repository after clicking
the New project menu item. It would copy all the files from the repository
over into whatever directory I named for the new project.
But now in D2005 when I try this, I get a "Cannot copy File %2
Error. Do you wish to continue?" when ever I set the directory for the new
project. I've checked all the obvious things, like making sure I add read
access to the files, and I even tried deleting the history folder and all
other unnecessary files that Delphi creates when I saw that no other
template in the repository had them. Is this a bug, or am I doing something
wrong?
