You shouldn't be having this problem as the speedbuttons work
exactly the same in these versions. I use the down property all the time in
D7 and 9. Are you hooked up to an action? Could be a setting there or
perhaps you're losing your GroupIndex.

Subject: TSpeedButton.Down

I'm in the process of moving my applications from D5 to D7 and have come
across a problem which I can't fix.

In D5 I could set the Down property of a TSpeedButton which I use as a
toggle in my program. The user can see that it is up or down which
represents off or on.

I have 4 large speedbuttons that all have this requirement.

I have GroupIndex set to 1, which according to the help, is the only
requirement, but manually setting the Down property to True does not
work. A test immediately afterwards shows it as False.

Does anyone have a solution or a replacement button which can have a
Glyph and shows when the button is obviously down.

Thanks,

Ross Levis.
