I have been working on a project for a couple of weeks and suddenly out of nowhere ... :-) ... I start getting a compiler error message: "Internal error L1333"and the code won't compile. The solution is < File | Close All > followed by <File | Reopen > .
Usually, just a rebuild is enough to get rid of an internal error. Other times, you need to restart Delphi. Closing and re-opening the project isn't a solution people mention very often, but if it works for you, terrific.
I can't find anything in the Delphi Help file and a Google search for "Delphi error L1333" turned up 0 hits. :-(
Search Google Groups, not plain Google.
Also note that the help file does tell you a little about the error. Select the error in the IDE's message window and press F1.
I'm partly curious just to know what's up, and partly a bit concerned that maybe I've got a memory leak, or some other hidden surprise.
Anyone know what L1333 means?
It's a linker error -- that's what the L indicates. The number is meaningful to Borland, but not to anyone else. If you can reproduce the error, then feel free to report your finding on Quality Central.
