I use TShape for this. The advantage is you can color the line. Mike

It would be used to divide several sets of controls without grouping them in group boxes. I see this quite often in Microsoft products such as Outlook Express, and in a standard File Properties dialog from Windows Explorer. MS often use this instead of a group box these days. I could try to establish the correct colour and paint a line on the canvas directly, but this is quite a bit of work since it would need to handle form resizing etc. So I just wondered if there was an easier way to do this. I think Borland should provide a simple component for placing a dividing line on a form at design time, with the usual Anchors etc. Regards, Ross. _______________________________________________ Delphi mailing list -> [email protected] http://www.elists.org/mailman/listinfo/delphi _______________________________________________ Delphi mailing list -> [email protected] http://www.elists.org/mailman/listinfo/delphi
