ImageList is really designed for small toolbar and other buttons; as such the images must be either .bmp or .ico By default, imagelists work with 16x16 pixel images if I recall (not sure where I got that from).
If you want to work with larger and high quality images you can use a TImage. If you want to turn a jpeg into a bitmap just use a suitable image editor (I use Paint Shop Pro) to resize the JPEG and then save it as a bitmap. Remember that by default the bottom left pixel will be the transparent colour. You can then import it into an image list. However, the results are not always very good, and may need some editing. The ImageList is an MS control and doesn't support jpegs. cheers, Jeremy On 10/4/05, Steve Williams <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Add Jpeg to your uses clause and you will instantly get JPG support. _______________________________________________ Delphi mailing list -> [email protected] http://www.elists.org/mailman/listinfo/delphi _______________________________________________ Delphi mailing list -> [email protected] http://www.elists.org/mailman/listinfo/delphi
