I checked and do not have the url anymore, but I had the same need
for a dBGrid and found a short tutorial on About.com for adding controls
that worked quite well. You might also try googling for, "Adding components
to Grid in Delphi" or something similar. But if you don't find what you're
looking for let me know and I'll dig the code out of my archives. It's in a
box around here somewhere. I still haven't finished unpacking from the move
I made this year!

Subject: grid or list with buttons

Hi List,

for my app., I'm looking for a control which lists items in a tabular way
(with columns and
rows). However, in one of the columns, I want each cell to be filled with
speedbuttons
which the user could click, one speedbutton for every item listed (and one
item in one
row).

Does anyone know a (freeware) component available which could do this? And
if not,
How do I put components such as a speedbutton inside a TStringGrid or a
TListView?

I'm using Delphi 5 pro.

thanks, Rinke
