I don't think the IDE will automatically do this for you (as it does for Tcomponents) but there's a way to do it anyway, using TPropertyEditor. Just create your own TPropertyEditor descendent and register it using RegisterPropertyEditor and you'll be able to show whatever you want in object inspector. Specifically take a look at the following methods:
