Thanks,
Hello,

The LMD component suite, which you can find in the companion tools CD that was
shipped with your Delphi 5, has a timer and a useful stop-watch, both claimed
to be precise down to the millisecond. If I well remember thay are based on the
Windows media player timer. I have been used them with satisfaction. I am not
aware of any issue with them. They are used in a similar way as the Borland
TTimer.
