What are the differences between Paintbox and Image components? I'll just been reviewing some older applications that I've written at different periods. I note that at different times I have drawn (in code not by hand) on the canvas of either one, with apparently identical coding and results????????
I need to draw quite a number of complex shapes to form each image, as defined by the results of programme calculations, and I have no problems with that aspect, but I'd like to improve the quality of the images by removing the jaggy edges from lines and circles etc. Does anyone know if it is possible to draw in an anti-aliasing mode, or are there any simple drawing components out there that have that capability? Essentially I just draw lines, circles and polygons, sometimes filled, sometimes not. A sample screen shot can be seen at www.tonyfoale.com/suskin/MC_Setup_05.jpg Last question. Is there a simple way to display bitmap images files rotated to programatically specified angles. -- Regards, Tony Foale EspaƱa / Spain www.tonyfoale.com [EMAIL PROTECTED] _______________________________________________ Delphi mailing list -> [email protected] http://www.elists.org/mailman/listinfo/delphi
