Subject: RE: Serial Port and USB I/O...some additional OT questions in this
area

Hi Robert,

Small assembled circuit boards are available that
connect to USB ports and provide digital and/or
analog I/O.

I bought one to play with thru electrokits.com
(USB Experiment Interface Board K8055)
that comes with a well documented DLL to access it and
demo software source in Delphi plus others.

With the above info it was easy to write my
Delphi app to read and write to the board
even tho the demo did it all.

FYI this board has 5 digital inputs, 8 digital
outputs, 2 analog inputs, 2 analog outputs,
and more. Amplification of the analog input is
changeable.

This board may not meet your needs but there must
be others out there that will.

If you want more info, let me know

Regards

Dick
