That's got to be one of the dumbest ads I've ever seen and as big a
waste of money and miss-management as Delphi 8! If I were Borland, I would
get a new advertising firm and hide this from the rest of the world!
All this shows me is that once again Borland doesn't have a clue,
and so I'm even more thankful they're selling off the IDE end of the
business. And if THAT was their intention with this piece of crap they'd
have done a lot better just to release a short, one-panel, ad that simply
says: "We at Borland not having a clue as to what drives this industry have
stepped aside to allow the developers of the greatest IDE there is to take
Delphi away from our miss-management and general ignorance so that they can
continue the course we started with them before we became just another
money-grubbing, institution feeding upon itself! It is our supreme hope
that in doing so Delphi will again prove to the world that it is the ONLY
true RAD, OOP language/IDE combination available!"
