A web service client which I'm developing in Delphi 7 needs to pass the ISO-8859-1 character set. Setting the THTTPRIO encoding isn't sufficient: characters such as tilde-n are broken into two characters during upload of XML data. A similar application written in Java doesn't have that issue. Anyone have ideas on this?
