Hi Rob,

Thanks for replying.  Mine's an embedded application and the client has
requested the use of the screen saver.  The screen saver does not force
logging in when it's disabled.  I understand the application and I
understand why he wants the screen to light up with the plots and real
time data once the data acquisition restarts.  That could be 1 minute or
5 hours and it happens automatically.

If I want to keep my job, it's in my best interests to do what the
client wants rather than tell him he doesn't need it.  Would you buy a
car from a salesman who says you don't need power steering and isn't
interested in ordering it for your car?
