Hi Rob, Thanks for replying. Mine's an embedded application and the client has requested the use of the screen saver. The screen saver does not force logging in when it's disabled. I understand the application and I understand why he wants the screen to light up with the plots and real time data once the data acquisition restarts. That could be 1 minute or 5 hours and it happens automatically.
If I want to keep my job, it's in my best interests to do what the client wants rather than tell him he doesn't need it. Would you buy a car from a salesman who says you don't need power steering and isn't interested in ordering it for your car?
