Generally you can get away with copying the borland unit into your projects directory and recompiling. This works fine if you don't use runtime packages. <advertisement> For your dialog issue you may want to have a look at my JSDialog component. While its main purpose is to emulate the Vista specific dialogs on XP or lower operating systems, it also has a fallback to the OldStyle dialogs as well. Wrapper functions are included for many of the Dialogs.MessageDlg* calls as well as new ones. You can find out more from: http://www.jed-software.com/jsd.htm While the download doesn't include the latest shipping version for registered users, the compiled demo application is based on the latest build available to registered users. Direct demo link: http://www.jed-software.com/files/TJSDialog_Demo.zip The next registered users build is scheduled to be released monday week. If you have any specific question you can contact me directly. </advertisement> cheers, Jeremy _______________________________________________ Delphi mailing list -> [email protected] http://www.elists.org/mailman/listinfo/delphi
