Hello all,
Does anyone have any experience of TPNGIMAGE? I've having trouble
installing it on Delphi 5.
I've been working with JPEgs and GIFs (using the TGIFImage package from
Anders Melander ) for some years.
But now I'd like to be able to process PNG files. So I decided to try
Gustavo Daud's TPNGIMAGE component, which I've seen people mention in
this forum in the past. The download for the latest version 1.564 did
not contain any package files.
Hence I tried to install the previous version 1.56. This did contain
package files, but when I try to run the one for Delphi 5 I am getting
this message:
"Rule for project "png" is not specified". Both versions are supposed
to support with Delphi 5.
That's as far as I've got, but thought before I spent more time, I'd ask
if anyone has any experience of this, or maybe could recommend a better
way to go.
I've tried a Google search, and written to Gustavo but no joy yet.
