Hello, Yes a mailslot will do (limited in string size). Another option is with a TCP session. Also a Named Pipe (the latter I have non visual components on my web free). All will do over LAN also. If you need to transfer over internet, or trough networks interconnected with a Router then you need TCP session (see http://www.overbyte.be for components free also).
