Using D5 Ent.

I am finally replacing my development system before it dies a natural death
after some 10 years+. I successfully installed D5 on the new box, transferred
some 50 .bpl files, component folders, etc., and then exported and modified the
two key KnowPackages Registry entries (in Current User and Local Machine) to
reflect the new locations (drive changes).

I imported these modified Registry files into the new system and fired up
Delphi, which indicated missing numerous .bpl files. So, I made sure that all
the files were where they were supposed to be and with D5 open I went to
Component | Install Packages and then Added every .bpl file that was unchecked.
In the end, all packages are checked. I saved that, did a Save All (incl.
Project1.dpr) and finally exited D5 uneventfully.

When I reopen D5 the same packages are again not found. I've repeated this
process now four times. What am I missing? There seems to be a Delphi
configuration (or some) file that is not getting changed and is doing me in.
Anyone have a clue what it might be?

All thoughts welcome.

Jerry
