I would check out RemObjects Software.  They have tools and
libraries which allow you to mix Win32 and .NET code in a variety of ways.

Can I create in dot net ActiveX to run in IE?

It seems to me that ActiveX is a Win32 deal whereas we are all moving 
over to dot net and in doing so what should one do if one wants to 
create a plug-in for IE that should be running on the client side and 
not the server side?
