Some questions about making D2010 look like D7:
I have modified the 2010 IDE so that it looks almost like Delphi 7 on
my laptop following Lanusse's Embarcadero Forum suggestions, and I'd
like to transfer this to a workstation without going through the
whole reconfiguration process again.
Where is a new configuration stored after clicking the "save current
desktop" button?.
How can one hide the Welcome Page when D 2010 is started?
In D7, when a dpr was chosen, the main window of the program was
shown, but in D2010, the unit with a name at the beginning of the
alphabet is shown at the start. How can I force showing the main window?
Why is an executable with the same units recompiled with a build
twice as big as D7 after compiling with D 2010 even if the "release"
option is turned on in the project manager? In D 5 the executable is
still smaller. Where is all this "bloatware" being generated? Can it
be stopped?
