I'm trying to use a DirectSound interface function but I'm not having much luck. It is to obtain a Wave Device ID from a DirectSound GUID using DSPROPERTY_DIRECTSOUNDDEVICE_DESCRIPTION as described on this page.
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee418863.aspx I cannot find any Delphi code in the internet to do this, only C++. With some help, I have some code which appears to be correct, but crashes. I'm hoping someone can help me work out what the problem is.
