20+ years of mouse+keyboarding and [touch wood] no RSI for me.

I think the R in RSI has to be taken in conjunction with the S in order to
lead to any I.  :)

I am sure you could get RSI from using a trackpad (or any other
tool/device) if you used it repetitively and frequently in a way that
caused harmful stress.

Just my 0.02.  ymmv  :)
