you should consider using IntraWeb, as you can use your Delphi knowlegment as
well re-use your existing code base.
As a sample of a running application, you can check the Atozed Purchase Point,
which is written in IntraWeb XII / XE2: http://www.atozed.com:9991/$/start
This app is a Stand Alone Server running as a Service (ie, very easy to deploy)
against a SQL Server 2005 DB.
