Was the old version of "Python for Delphi" working ok with Delphi 2007 and Python 2.5? Is the latest version of "Python for Delphi" working ok with Delphi 2007 and Python 2.5? Is the latest version of "Python for Delphi" working ok with Delphi < 2006 and Python 2.7? I would say your problems are related to unicode.
