Hi John, I think that if you put a server closer to your user base, it should be ok to use c#. If the users is in North Shore hospital, Auckland and if you put your web server in the same lan network, you will get fastest network response. The effect to use Delphi, C# is just minor matter compare to network latency.
Your sql server logic will have bigger impact on performance than the choice of C#, Delphi language.
