Well one thing has worked flawlessly – finally I chose the option to roll back
to WIndows 8.1 – there is under settings/recovery options to reset windows or
roll back. That option worked flawlessly – everything installed previously
is there except saved wireless networks – for some weird reason MS have not
decided to save these in any lasting place – they usually get lost on OS
upgrade.
Next is to try again I guess...
