I’ve just deployed apps on AWS – you might want to check latency as the instance will be offshore.
What type of AWS instance are you thinking of using ? That might take a bit of playing with. D P.S. Another thing to thing about is IP. NZ does not have software patents, other jurisdictions do. I was able to move the VM files etc. to my laptop so I can keep working. I have gone through the process of converting (a copy of) my dev VM to a VirtualBox VM and in the process of converting THAT to something that Google Cloud can import, but just wondering if anyone else is doing dev this way?
