i think this is a consequence of the "replies go to the sender" problem because any bounce messages from mailservers about outdated list subscribers will go back to the poster of that message (just as a reply would).
I think it's more likely that the bouncing address is on the list, and is no longer active... or they put a really anal spam filter in that's detecting posts as spam and bouncing them.
Of course - if this problem is "fixed" then we'd ALL get the bounce messages. Presumably the old DUGNZ list was handling this situation cleverly - i don't recall that happening.
Heh... can just imagine... someone sends a message to the list, it gets bounced to the list and resent. Repeat as necessary, several times a minute :)
List server software needs to handle bounces intelligently. And we really do need the server to set a 'reply-to' header!
