I am unsure if two pages will satisfy the boss.... he really wants to be able to type letters into an input and have the resultant listing show all possible results from our Db (those that the user is authorized to see anyway). No button clicking etc etc.
Oops, forgot one : Put the dependent control in an IFrame then reload the IFrame on the change of the first control. Haven't actually tried this one, can't see how it wouldn't work.
