RE: [DUG] Office Automation

(To start another thread on someone else’s)   Does anyone know if there are problems with Office automation (Excel) in Delphi 7?   I had a wee app that opened an instance of Excel pulled some figures out and put then into a database. There were around 300 sheets it opened one after the other. No matter how I created the app – early binding, late binding, type library it would bomb out randomly.   I create a wee test app in (gasp) VB 6, with the same code and it worked fine (not to mention faster).
