Isn't this by design, as you can build all projects in the project
manager and do them in the order that they appear.

So if you had a package that another project relied on or dll etc you
could have the dll or package first then the exe to be built afterwards?

I noticed this with Delphi 7 as well. I have search all the options I
can
find but no where does it say that you can alter this. The only solution
that I have found so far is to sort the project file alphabetically so
that
the Project Manager displays correctly.

I suspect that it should be possible to write an IDE extention that
locates
the Project Manager window and sorts the contents of the tree
appropiately,
but I haven't bother about this yet. I was hoping that Gexperts or
someone
would do the hard yakka and I could just benefit.

Anyone who knows more about this please speak up...
