How do others write to a dot-matrix printer for logging applications ? I am trying to port a DOS proggy and I dont really want to use my old DOS code (usng interrupts, spooling etc).
I can use the old style fileaccess (assignfile, rewrite,writeln) and that appears to work fine in the initial test. But how do I find out if the printer is off-line ?
