Hi all. Has or rather IS anyone on the list using FlashFiler?
Tried to at one point, but failed to get it to compile for BCB4 in under half an hour so I gave it up :>
I decided to take a look at it, and so far, it looks quite nice.
Only problem is, I imported or rather converted a 30MB Access table I have over to FlashFiler, and it created a 349mb FILE !!
Is this normal ? I have packed it and repaired it etc, but 348mb from a 30mb file ?! thats got to be wrong.
How many records, or what max length? Are you Using any blob or variable width fields in the original? If FF stores records as fixed-length then... well, eek is all I can say :>
