A question about licensing
really.
Scenario:
User has Delphi 5.
User upgrades to D6
User purchases an upgrade to D7 with
Upgrade advantage.
User is sent D8 as part of Upgrade
Advantage.
All those copies of software are covered
under one license and no copies can be sold privately to another person.
True?
Delphi "upgrades" are license only.. ie
you can (physically) install the D7 "upgrade" on a machine which has no Delphi
currently installed.. correct? (I notice the D7 box says "New
User")
How then, can one tell if someone sells
D7 on an auction website (like ebay etc) whether they are doing so legally or
illegally?
