Just some feedback on this question from a month ago and thanks
to those who responded with suggestions.

It turned out that my app had the Printer Tray set to First in every
single one of my reports.
I don't know why it was set to First, and I have no recollection of
ever setting it thus - maybe that was the default in D3??

When I set it to Auto, the problem went away.

BUT this is the first time in 5 + years in around 30 sites that a
printer has complained about the Tray being set to First.

(Just goes to show - thers a First time for everything!)
