That's what I understand - I am pretty sure they'll need to update
Delphi to take advantage of it, but it will certainly be supported by
Delphi. The team is working closely with Microsoft (as are we in New
Zealand).

Having said all that, which I mostly agree with, I still find that
Delphi .NET is a much better experience than using VS.NET. I much prefer
the Delphi IDE even though it can be a bit sluggish.


Slightly more offtopic:
I have just read some docs on the up coming Whidbey version of VS.NET. I
just browsed really but some of the features in ASP.NET Whidbey are very
mouth watering indeed. Am I correct in assuming that "Whidbey" is just a
code name for .NET framework 2.0 and something that will be available to
all .NET compilers (i.e Delphi), or is it talking about enhancements to
VS.NET that we wont see?
