Thanks
Gary, but no, it is not. It is the URL that you have posted to, not the page
within the websnap application itself. It does contain a page name within it,
but it is the name of the first page visited.
As I
understand it, and I am far from expert, Websnap gets all of it's information
about what to do and where it's going and where it's been from a hidden
field called "__act", which it sets in _javascript_ just before posting. __act has
a number of subfields, some or all of which are present for a given action. We
observed that the fp and p subfields contained the name of the previous/current
page, so we were parsing for these values. In Delphi 7 they no longer hold the
value of the previous/current page and now hold the value of the next page,
along with a subfield called sp. Whether this is a fix or a breakage, or we have
simply been lucky (and stupid for relying on it) for the last year and a
half I do not know.
In any
case, I realised that adding our own hidden variable wasn't quite the mission I
thought it would be and so I have done that and it works. Yay. Thanks people
with suggestions.
